I recently tried out this charming little spot and let me tell you, their banh mis are the real deal! Picture the perfect combination of fresh pickled veggies, savory meats, and the most heavenly creamy pate and mayo. It was like a flavor explosion in every bite. I loved watching them prepare everything fresh to order, including slicing up fresh jalapeƱos to add just the right amount of kick. My only tiny suggestion would be to include a bit more pickled carrots and turnips to really balance out the flavors, but honestly, for the price of $7, I can't complain one bit. If you're looking for a satisfying banh mi that hits all the right notes, this is the place to be!

I had the best experience at Saigon Sandwich! I grabbed a couple of sandwiches to take on a hike at 9 am on a Sunday and was so impressed. Despite being warned about the Tenderloin area, I felt completely safe as a solo female. Plus, there were security guards around for added peace of mind. The sandwiches were ready in no time and tasted amazing even after a few hours of hiking. I opted for the combo banh mi and it was packed with flavor. The pate, pickled vegetables, chili, and cilantro all worked together perfectly. At only $7, it was a steal for such a filling and delicious sandwich. I can't stop thinking about how good that sandwich was - definitely one of the best things I've eaten lately. If I lived closer, I would be a regular at Saigon Sandwich. Highly recommend checking it out!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a Vietnamese sandwich shop and I am so glad I did! The Chicken Banh Mi is my go-to and at $5.50, it's a steal. Just remember, they only accept cash. Since discovering this place, I find myself stopping by at least once a week during my lunch break. The service here is incredible. The staff behind the counter work like a well-oiled machine, churning out sandwiches with lightning speed. Even when there's a line, it moves quickly so you won't be waiting long. Located in the Tenderloin neighborhood, you might see some interesting characters around, but don't let that deter you from trying their amazing sandwiches. Parking can be a bit tricky with only street parking available, but that's just a typical San Francisco challenge. With so many glowing reviews on Yelp, it's clear that this sandwich spot is a hit. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this delicious experience!

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time over the weekend and had a great experience. While it may not be in the best area of SF, I recommend grabbing your food to-go and enjoying it elsewhere. For 2024, this place offers some of the most affordable prices in the city. I couldn't believe I got a Banh Mi for just $5.50! The portion size was generous and they really loaded it up with meat. The flavors were fantastic and there was something in there that kept me full all day - I wasn't even hungry come dinnertime! Overall, I had a delicious meal at a great price. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Let me tell you, I had a much better experience at this restaurant this time around. The last time I was here, it was a bit sketchy with a lot of police presence and some questionable characters hanging around. But this time, it felt much safer and more relaxed. The banh mi I had was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was quick and efficient, no frills but they definitely know what they're doing in the kitchen. While the atmosphere isn't exactly cozy for a leisurely meal, it's worth it for the delicious food. I would definitely go back again, despite the slight risk factor. Cheers to good eats!
